On the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend we decided to go and pick a pumpkin. This is the 3rd year we've done this but only my 2nd year of making pumpkin puree. Last year was a bust as i over stuffed the jars and lost 3 since they cracked. This year i was smart and split them up into small and large jars.

Now your probably wondering what will i do with all that puree. Well we've made 3 batches of pumpkin muffins and a pumpkin cake. Nothing beats home made pumpkin puree for baked goods!
